Biography
Head coach of the Moscow Swimming and Freediving Club and a Hatha yoga instructor. Her sporting life began with the Russian national academic rowing team, where she won titles and placings in international competition, and she competed in swimming and underwater swimming for her university team. Over time that path turned into work on breath and awareness, and today she brings the strength of top-level sport together with Eastern practice.
She graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute and the Pedagogical University of Physical Education, and is a certified yoga, freediving and swimming instructor. She has taught yoga and freediving for more than fifteen years and has run freediving safari camps, including week-long open-sea dives with dolphins, as well as yoga camps. She works especially with students who fear water or depth, and she is an active adviser on breath development and relaxation techniques to the Russian national rhythmic gymnastics team.
In her own words: “Balance in the water begins with balance within.” At camp she leads the breathing, flexibility and recovery sessions.
